FMA defends doctors against misleading insurance industry report

The FMA has issued a strong, swift response to a recent New York Times article about a report from America's Health Insurance Plans (AHIP) that unfairly blames physicians for driving up health care costs through exorbitant out-of-network charges. We have submitted a letter to the editor to the Times. Our new Health Policy Analyst, Jarrod Fowler, conducted thorough research that brought to light the many problems with AHIP's misleading analysis.
